Although the Society held its organizational meeting
in Newark (now Niagara-on-the-Lake), much of its later activity appears to
have been centered around Toronto.
Its headquarters (Osgoode Hall) were constructed in 1828 just outside the
then town of York (now Toronto).
With the expansion in the city
boundaries, the headquarters have long been within the city of Toronto.
