Its Wikipedia article indicates that the Society was founded on 4 December 1803 by Guillaume Dupuytren and René-Théophile-Marie-Hyacinthe Laënnec, but that eventually, because of the rivalry between the two founders, the Society became dormant in 1808. It was revived again in 1826 through the efforts of Jean Cruveilher and became very active; this is coincidentally the date that the Society began to publish its Bulletins.

Bulletins et Mémoires de la Société Anatomique de Paris

The years and volume numbers for the transition between A and this title may be deduced from a couple of records in the Biblio. Nat. France cat.; this is also confirmed by a record in the GBV German Union cat..

According to a record in the Biblio. Nat. France cat., volumes did not appear from 1914 July to 1919 May (evidently because of the events of the First World War).

Also, a note in a record in the Biblio. Nat. France cat. indicates that this was absorbed by Annales d'Anatomie Pathologique Médico-Chirurgicale.

A note in another record in the Biblio. Nat. France cat. clarifies the situation by indicating that, although the Bulletins had been published separately from 1826 to 1925, from 1926 to 1976 they were published as Comptes Rendus within: Annales d'Anatomie Pathologique Médico-Chirurgicale, which became Annales d'anatomie pathologique et d'anatomie normale..., which became Annales d'anatomie pathologique; and in 1976 they were again published separately as C.
