1850	In an historical essay at UCLA entitled London Epidemiological Society, we read that the London Epidemiological Society was founded on 1850, March 6. According to a Wikipedia article entitled London Epidemiological Society, it ceased to exist independently in 1907, when it and several other medical societies merged with the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society of London (founded 1805), to form the Royal Society of Medicine ().
