U.S.A. Boston	Boston Society of Natural History [The Society was founded in 1830. It published a *Proceedings* beginning 1841. In 1864, it founded a museum which is now known as the Museum of Science. According to a Wikipedia article, this Society ceased to exist as such in 1948 - and "After World War II, under the leadership of Bradford Washburn, the society sold the Berkeley Street building, changed its name to the Boston Museum of Science. ... The cornerstone for the new Museum was laid at Science Park [in 1949] and a temporary building was erected to house the Museum's collections and staff. Germany Dresden	Naturwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Isis, Dresden (Scientific Society Isis, Dresden) [The Society was founded in Dresden on 1833, December 19 as a Verein zur Beförderung der Naturkunde. It later had the names (1) Gesellschaft Isis in Dresden; (2) Naturwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Isis zu Dresden; (3) Naturwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Isis in Dresden; and (4) Naturwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Isis, Dresden (its current name). According to a Wikipedia article, the Society was dissolved on 2019, June 6.]	Ceased

Around 1872 it became the Société des Etudes Historiques - evidently also known as Société d'Études Historiques. The record in the CTHS indicates that the Society published *Revue des études historiques*, and also that the Society was dissolved in 1939.]	Ceased
