This book provides a history of the Schlesische Gesellschaft für Vaterländische Cultur, which was founded in 1803, and which ceased in 1945. It also provides some historical information on its predecessor, the Patriotische Gesellschaft in Schlesien (founded 1771; ceased 1791)
