1810 Journal of American Mineralogy
According to p.220 of Science, New Series, Vol. 53, No. 1367 (Mar. 11, 1921), pp. 219-226 ("The Future of Mineralogy in America" by Edward H. Kraus), in 1810, January, Dr. Archibald Bruce established the Journal of American Mineralogy, but this journal did not survive beyond one volume. We have been unable to locate a copy listed in a library catalogue.
A. Bruce's Journ.
[Pogg., v.1, col.437 refers vaguely to several mineralogical articles, but gives no further details.]
