According to Bolton, p.82, #689, this
journal was edited by Benj. Apthorp Gould, Jr. for at least
1849-1861.
Although this journal is now published by scholarly societies, it was not
at the beginning of its existence; moreover, neither of the sponsoring
societies was in existence until 1899, which means that as of 2024-03-29
we are not including a history page for either society in the Repertorium.
