was founded by Johan Clemens Tode (1736-1806), who
was also involved in the founding of several other Copenhagen societies:
Københavnske Medicinske Selskab (1772-1872),
Societas Exercitatoria Medica (1774-1785), and
Societas Philiatrica (1787-1791).
